Hi
Does anyone know of any vignettes that are written for scoring a young (12-17yrs) person suffering from Anorexia Nervosa for HONOSCA

Sue, I know that there has been some work on the development of 20 vignettes that have international consensus on the ratings. One of these vignettes includes a consumer with what her parents suspect is an eating disorder. These vignettes will be launched at the IACAPAP conference in Melbourne in September. Regards Tim

Sue,
Before the vignette booklet is launched in September, it would be good to discuss specific issues re eating disorders and HoNOSCA if you have a particular situation in mind. There has been a tendency for some disorders to have certain scales missed. For example, with an eating disorder, there is most likely inadequate nutritional self-care compared with the young person's chronological age and this will warrant rating on scale 11.
